Cover letter for a childcare/daycare?

-I have an assignment at school where I have to compose a cover letter for a day care. I dont know what I should include in this letter. If I have no experience working in a day care but am currently going to school for that job, what type of information should I include that would make it sound good??A cover letter is basically a paper introduction of a person seeking employment with that company; it highlights the persons employment as related to the position they are applying for, but is not as detailed as a resume.
