-Im in a preschool class and i need to run a lesson. My lessons on birds. have any good ideas for activities i can do with them?Hi,
You may find this website on preschoolers and preschool games and activities interesting:
http://www.smart-kid-educational-games.com/preschool-games.html
It gives you some preschool activities and preschool games ideas and you may find it interesting. I dont know if it contains ideas with birds yet but teachers can submit activity ideas and they will be published!
I hope this helps.

Some great games are active listening games! Try playing some music and have them interpret the tempo (fast/slow) with scarves or with their dance movements! Or even since you are doing a bird theme, have them show how the bird would be flying to that music. Play some bird calls and have them imitate the sounds they hear. These are great activities to help increase their cognitive skills and really shows them how to listen effectively. Hope that helps!!

A fun activity would be to make a pine-cone bird feeder. There are some great ideas on the web.
Please see the first link below. The second link has articles on early childhood development.
Simple games like four corners, guess who, or even drawing (with crayons!). Kids use their imagination more often then not so think around that. Hope it helps and good luck!
Duck duck goose but minus the elimination like I did duck duck goose but in stead kids being out they would advance two level two another funner game that way no one is left out
Duck Duck Goose (they're birds and you can't go wrong with that game. it's a classic.)
